The resort stands on the dunes above the Praia da Barra beachfront. The listing gives Barra Lighthouse and Barra Beach at 1.4 km, Tofo Beach at 7 km and Inhambane Airport at 21 km. In a straight line it is about 2.3 km south-east of our Praia da Barra reference point.

Two formats are published. The Two-Bedroom Chalet is about 60 square metres and let as an entire chalet, with one double bed in the first bedroom, two single beds in the second, an en-suite bathroom, a balcony, a patio and a garden view; interconnecting rooms are noted as available. The rooms are about 30 square metres, offered as Double or Twin with Sea View or Queen with Sea View, each with a balcony, patio and en-suite bathroom. Cots and extra beds are not available.
Facilities at Sava Dunes
Verified facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with a swim-up bar, a private beach area, a sun terrace and a bar. Breakfast is served daily, with continental, full English or Irish and buffet options recorded, and rates including dinner can be booked. Free private parking is available on site and an airport shuttle is listed. Snorkelling, fishing, windsurfing and canoeing are among the activities available in the area. Rooms have mosquito nets and fans, and the property is non-smoking.
