Casa de Beija Flor is a pair of thatched self-catering casitas set back in the coastal dune forest at Praia do Tofo, on Mozambique’s Inhambane Coast. Location
The casitas sit in dune forest between Tofo village and Tofinho, roughly 400 m from the main village beach and about 300 m from the surfing beach. In a straight line it is about 1.2 km south-east of our Tofo village reference point.
Rooms and style at Casa de Beija Flor
There are two A-framed thatched casitas. Each has a master bedroom and a loft bedroom, giving comfortable space for four people, and one bathroom fitted with both a shower and a bath. Each casita also has an indoor lounge and its own outside deck. Bed configurations in the loft are not itemised, so if you are travelling with taller teenagers or anyone who would struggle with a ladder, confirm the loft arrangement before booking.
Facilities at Casa de Beija Flor
Verified facilities include a well-equipped kitchen in each unit, an outside deck with a braai area, a sunset deck, free wifi, security safes and a deep freezer. Cleaning and laundry are provided every three to five days or on request, and there is an on-site manager. Off-road parking is available and the property can be reached in an ordinary vehicle.
